Creative Writers Workshop - Poetry Walk

live@thelibrary. At Greenfield Library , Chew Vale, Greenfield OL3 7EQ, Oldham. United Kingdom.

A Wandering Creatives first as we venture between Greenfield and Uppermill, being inspired by nature to write our own poetry!

Join us for a poetry reading, wander and workshop like no other as we are joined by Benjamin Guilfoyle, The Wooly Hat Poet!

We'll meet in Greenfield library, listen to a poem or two to get inspired then will make our way to Uppermill Library, writing along the way! We'll be inspired by nature and scenes we wander across, who knows what we'll see. Trees, a canal boat, a squirrel or two??

We finish at Uppermill Library for a comforting brew and biscuits as we piece together our threads of text. Together we can create a poem worthy of celebrating National Poetry Day! Writers are welcome to stay in the cosy nook at Uppermill for as long as they like afterwards, sharing words and thoughts. Help us celebrate National Poetry day in style by creating a poem inspired by the local sites and sounds.
